Background
Dr. Cara Steele completed her DVM program at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech, graduating in 2015. She completed a one year rotating internship at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, MA followed by residency in small animal internal medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Cara Steele is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (DACVS).
Dr. Steele, an East Coast native, now practices in Baltimore, Maryland. She has led continuing education courses, including one on the topic of tick-borne diseases in dogs and cats.
Special Interests
Dr. Steele has specific interests in gastroenterology, endocrine disease, feline medicine, immune-mediated diseases, infectious diseases, and endoscopy procedures.
